See if this story sounds familiar: a private detective is hired to live in the home of a rich woman for a few days to find out whether any of her family members are truly worthy of inheriting her estate. Her nephew is a little light in the loafers, as they say, his wife is sleeping with the houseboy, and there’s also a young niece with some dubious friends. Along the way, the detective discovers all the secrets of the family and then some, and before the story ends there’s been a helicopter chase and a fair amount of gunplay before a single photograph provides all the evidence needed to identify a murderer… (MORE)

The following By Will Cain, CNN Contributor - April 21, 2011 1:37 p.m.
One of these days, I want to make a list. Actually, I want to make two lists of liberal pundits, commentators and politicians. On one, I will list all of the people who are incapable of or unwilling to have a serious discussion about the budget crisis. On the other, I will list all of the people who are simply wrong. To understand the difference between the two lists, you need to understand the difference between Catwoman and Hard Ticket to Hawaii… MORE (Producer’s Note: This Commentator gets the joke but seems to be too much of a cinema snob to know it!) |

The Most Unlikely Valentines Gift - Andy Sidaris - Bullets, Bombs, and Babes Posted on January 31st, 2011 by Simon Barrett Several weeks ago I was having a conversation and the name Andy Sidaris cropped up. I never had the opportunity to meet him, but I certainly knew the name. He was a huge power in bringing sports to TV. Andy racked up seven Emmy awards in his sporting career. The one best remembered is for his coverage of the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. The Olympics are no strangers to controversy, and Mexico City was right up there with the rest… READ MORE |
Bill Farley, former Public Relations executive with Playboy, worked with Andy & Arlene in choosing the many beautiful Playmate Centerfolds who graced the “Bullets, Bombs & Babes” 12 Film Andy Sidaris Collection. In his masterfully written novel, Farley has drawn upon his experience to create Michael Montgomery — soldier of fortune, renegade publisher and hedonist extraordinaire. Montgomery approaches the 25th anniversary of his enormously successful men’s magazine with one goal, to surpass Helmut Harmon and Aristocrat magazine. Monty, as he is universally known, has been Harmon’s arch-rival since the first issue of his magazine, MONK. When Harmon’s then-girlfriend, the sultry Andrea Carrera, catches him in flagrante and storms out of his Detroit mansion, Montgomery waits to snap her up and showcase her nude in MONK’s premiere edition. From FilmDrunk, the movie blog that plays rough -- just the way your mother likes it. Written and edited by Vince Mancini… This is not the first time I’ve posted a clip from Hard Ticket to Hawaii, and so far I’ve learned a few things. First, I’ve learned that I must possess this film. Second, bazookas are very versatile. Today’s clip involves a woman with very large breasts being menaced by a large python with fangs, as pythons are wont to have. She shoots it in the mouth with a pistol, but it’s still alive. So her boyfriend, Lieutenant Tank Top, bursts through the wall on a motorcycle and shoots it with a bazooka. Which blows the snake’s head clean off, as bazookas are wont to do. It’s basically every keg party I went to in the 80s. Click here for more and to view the clip. |
